About the Show
Phil Wilson has been a familiar voice on North East radio since 1993, launching his career at just 16 on Centre FM. With a rich broadcasting history across stations like GCR FM, WEBFM, Network FM, The Point, and Lionheart Radio, Phil’s passion for music and radio has never faded.
In 2016, he launched Phil Wilson’s Vinyl Revival—a feel-good show celebrating classic records and listener nostalgia. It now airs every Sunday 8–10am on Affinity Radio, following his live Saturday morning show, 7–10am.
Phil’s warm style, encyclopedic music knowledge, and decades of experience make him a weekend essential. He’s interviewed stars from Suzi Quatro to Jeff Wayne, and he’s always keen to hear from listeners—especially for his Oddity Of The Week.
