It's the big one on Saturday night, the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. And, having the led the odds for weeks and weeks, it's Sweden who are the favourites to win.The world's biggest music event, Eurovision attracts a massive TV audience every single year, as fans across the globe tune into watch the contest, which is turning 70 next year. This year the competition is broadcasting live to the world from Basel, after Nemo won for Switzerland in Malmo 12 months ago.And, after a week of semi finals, which saw 20 countries qualify and 11 eliminated, the Eurovision 2025 final is taking place at 9pm Swiss time (8pm in the UK) on Saturday, as a trio of hosts take charge of proceedings. A total of 26 countries will compete in the grand finale, with the qualifiers from the semis, joining the big 5 - UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy - and host nation Switzerland on stage, as jury scores are given and people all over the world cast their votes.If you've watched Eurovision since big changes were made in 2016, you'll know that the public votes can change everything, with the biggest scorer with the juries often eclipsed by another act once fans have had their say. KAJ from Sweden have been the long standing favourites for the 2025 title, with other well fancied acts including JJ from Austria, Erika Vikman from Finland and fan favourite,The UK representatives are Remember Monday, but sadly for them, they are the favourites to finish last track with their song What The Hell Just Happened.
